Tester statement on arrest of fugitive on northern border

(KALISPELL, Mont.) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester, a member of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, today released the following statement in response to news that U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents have arrested a Canadian man wanted on a narcotics charge at Montana’s Port of Sweet Grass:
“Stories like this remind us that we face real threats along our northern border and that we need to make smart and appropriate investments in our ports and our people. Thanks to the hard work of the men and women of Customs and Border Protection, Montana’s communities are a little safer.”
