Tester Statement on Vote to Prevent Government Shutdown

U.S. Senator Jon Tester issued the following statement on his vote to prevent a needless government shutdown and provide certainty for our military:

“Defending Montana and our country is my top priority, and I won’t let foreign adversaries like China get a leg up from a needless government shutdown. That’s why I voted alongside Republicans to prevent a harmful shutdown, keep our economy moving, and provide certainty for our men and women in uniform.”
