Tester Statement on Congressman Zinke’s Nomination Vote

(U.S. Senate) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester issued the following statement after Congressman Ryan Zinke was favorably voted out of the Senate Energy Committee as the nominee for Secretary of the Interior:

“I am pleased to see Congressman Zinke’s nomination move forward. I look forward to working with him because of his public commitment to protect our outdoor economy, honor our trust responsibilities to Native Americans, and keep our public lands in public hands.”

Congressman Zinke passed favorably out of the Senate Energy Committee 16-6.
