Tester statement on short-term FAA reauthorization

(U.S. Senate) – Senator Jon Tester today issued the following statement after the Senate temporarily reauthorized the Federal Aviation Administration for three and a half months:

“Congress is a mess and it’s evident by their lack of responsible governing and long-term planning. The FAA provides critical investments in our economy and transportation infrastructure, and folks back in Washington can’t seem to figure that out. My hope is that over the next few months, we can get a bipartisan agreement so we can move our economy forward.”

Tester recently toured the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport to see the important boost the FAA provides to tourism and commerce in Montana.
