Tester statement on Keystone veto

(U.S. Senate) – Senator Jon Tester today issued the following statement after the President’s vetoed a bill that would authorize the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline:

“I’m disappointed that the President vetoed this bipartisan legislation. Keystone will help secure our energy future and create good paying jobs. I will continue to reach across the aisle to find ways we can get this pipeline built to the highest safety standards while protecting private property rights.”
