Tester statement on state’s analysis of proposed clean air rule

(U.S. SENATE) – Senator Jon Tester today issued the following statement after the Montana Department of Environmental Quality provided analysis on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed clean air rule:

“As a farmer, I know the importance of clean air and clean water, and this analysis will help stakeholders better understand the proposed clean air rule. I applaud Governor Bullock and his team for listening to Montanans and taking a proactive approach to lowering our state’s carbon emissions while ensuring our nation’s energy security.
