Tester statement on NorthWestern Energy purchase of Montana hydro dams

(U.S. SENATE) – Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement in response to news that NorthWestern Energy plans to acquire PPL Montana’s hydroelectric dams:

“Northwestern has a long history of reliable service to Montana customers, and today’s news ensures that ratepayers in the Treasure State will be able to use electricity generated from Montana’s own waterways.”
