Tester: ‘Montana lost a treasure today’

(U.S. SENATE) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester tonight released the following statement on the passing of 114-year-old Walter Breuning of Great Falls, Mont.:

“Montana lost a treasure today. Walter’s life was as rich as the state he called home. His positive perspective on life and his own unique history touched countless Montanans. Walter always saw good in everyone.  He will be missed, and always remembered.”

In lieu of flowers and cards, Mr. Breuning has requested that well-wishers instead support the Shriners’ Children’s Travel Fund and the Scottish Rite Language Disorder Center.
