Tester: Boeing contract secures jobs in Montana and across America

(U.S. SENATE) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement in response to the Pentagon’s decision to award a major Air Force tanker contract to Boeing, which recently acquired Summit Aeronautics in Helena:

“The contract isn’t final yet, but today’s decision is a good step toward securing jobs in Montana and across the country by strengthening our military and boosting America’s manufacturing base.  That’s a solid investment in my book.   I look forward to seeing Montanans continue to work for Boeing, meeting the needs of America’s military.”
