Tester to deliver MSU-Northern’s commencement address

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester will deliver Montana State University-Northern’s commencement address in Havre this Saturday, May 9.

Tester will speak to graduating students about their potential in rebuilding Montana’s economy and the opportunities afforded by higher education.

Saturday’s commencement ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. in the MSU-Northern Gym.

Tester is a Big Sandy farmer and a former school teacher.  He is a member of the influential Senate Appropriations Committee.  Tester also serves on the Senate’s Indian Affairs, Homeland Security, Veterans’ Affairs and Banking Committees.
