Tester statement on the death of SSgt. Travis Atkins

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement in response to the death of Staff Sergeant Travis Atkins of Bozeman, who died last week in a bomb attack in Iraq:

"With heavy hearts Sharla and I mourn the loss of Travis Atkins.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Travis' family, his son Trevor, his fellow servicemen and his friends.  Travis was so devoted to serving our country, he enlisted twice.  We will always be grateful for his commitment and we will never forget his sacrifice."
