Juneau family receives military medals 50 years later

Stan Juneau is the third of eight children, seven boys and one girl.

Growing up, he said his father, Edmond Juneau, never really talked about his experiences serving in the Army during World War II.

“We didn’t grow up with war stories, or know that he was a war hero,” Stan Juneau said.

On Friday, the Juneau family gathered in Great Falls so that Sen. Jon Tester could present them with Edmond Juneau’s medals.
