New Law Will Provide Grants for Vets Needing Medical Care

Good news for veterans tonight as they will soon have more ways to get needed medical care thanks to a new law.

Senator Jon Tester is behind the law and says that the VA will provide grants to help veterans in extremely rural areas reach medical centers.

The grants will be used to purchase vans and provide other travel assistance for vets seeking medical care.

The VA is planning on giving its first grants this year.
