Bozeman airport receives funding for terminal expansion project
The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport will $10 million for its terminal expansion project.
The funding will come from U.S. Sen. Jon Tester’s bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
Bozeman airport officials say the agency applied for the grant earlier this year. They add this large sum of money is critical to fund the $180 million project and keep up with the growing demand.
“To really address our critical parts of infrastructure that are not to the levels that we would like to have them at. So, trying to get those up to the levels that we really want to strive for our passengers,” said Brian Sprenger, president and CEO of the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
Construction is currently underway at the Bozeman airport.
The projected completion date for this expansion is 2030.
