Hi-Line Today: VA Exam Clinic opens in Missoula

On Friday, February 23rd Missoula opened their new veterans disability benefits examination clinic in Missoula.

This new clinic means Missoula-area veterans will no longer have to travel long distances to get examinations, said the offices of Senator Jon Tester.

Examinations are part of the process of determining a veterans benefits.

The VA says it still has more than 405 thousand pending requests for veteran benefits, saying that it has completed 863 thousand since last October.
