Tester in Anaconda Saturday to launch vets' listening tour

U.S. Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., a senior member of the Veterans’ Affairs Committee, will begin his statewide listening tour Saturday, June 14, in Anaconda to hear what Montana veterans like and don’t like about VA healthcare and benefits.

He’ll be at the American Legion, Third and Cedar, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

After recent reports surfaced that the VA mismanaged waiting lists for veterans seeking care, Tester announced a series of steps he is taking to address access issues, including a statewide tour to hear what Montana veterans think of the services available to them from the VA.
