Senator Tester and Governor Schweitzer tour flooded areas

BILLINGS – U.S. Senator Jon Tester and Governor Brian Schweitzer took an aerial tour Friday morning of the flooding around the Crow and Northern Cheyenne Reservations with the Department of Emergency Services administrator and the Crow tribal chairman.

Senator Tester is on the Senate committee that oversees the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

During a Friday morning briefing, Governor Schweitzer told the Crow tribe that the state will do everything it can to get help to them.

The Senator and Governor are scheduled to take an aerial tour of the flooding around Lewistown in the afternoon.
