Tester congratulates Billings Little League team on another great win

(BIG SANDY, Mont.) – Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement after the Big Sky All-Stars from Billings defeated the team from Louisiana to advance at the Little League World Series:

“Montanans continue to marvel at the achievements of this Billings team.  Manager Gene Carlson has his boys winning admirers from across the country with every victory.  We’ll all be cheering for these Treasure State champs in their next game on Wednesday night."

The Big Sky All-Stars defeated Louisiana by a score of 3-1.  They return to the field in South Williamsport, Pa. on Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. (MT), one step away from the U.S. Championship Game.
