Tester statement on Cruzado inauguration

(BIG SANDY, Mont.) – Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement in response to Dr. Waded Cruzado inauguration as the new president of Montana State University:

“My congratulations to Dr. Cruzado.  This is not just an honor for her—it’s great news for MSU and for Montana.  Waded has already demonstrated exceptional leadership and an understanding of how important our colleges and universities are to Montana jobs, new opportunities, and the human infrastructure that powers our economy.

“From talking with folks all over the state, to helping us make sure Montana’s veterans have the educational benefits they’ve earned, she’s off to a great start.  I wish her the best of luck.”
