Tester’s small business workshop now online

Senator’s latest workshop to boost jobs brought together hundreds of Montanans, industry leaders

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Montanans who missed out on Senator Jon Tester’s latest Small Business Opportunity Workshop can now view video highlights from the event and other resources on Tester’s website.

Video and additional resources for small businesses are now available at Tester’s website: tester.senate.gov/workshop.

“For folks who couldn’t make it to the workshop, now they’ve got a chance to log on and see what they missed,” Tester said.  “It was a productive, informative event that put new tools in the hands of our small businesses.  It’s exactly the kind of collaboration we need to keep creating jobs and rebuilding our economy.”

Tester’s workshop on Friday in Kalispell brought nearly 350 Montanans together with industry leaders such as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and several successful Montana entrepreneurs and angel investors.

Tester streamed the daylong event live over the internet.

Tester’s Kalispell workshop focused on entrepreneurship, access to capital, and online marketing opportunities.

The workshop followed similar events in Great Falls, Bozeman and Billings over the last year.
