An invitation to attend: Tester’s 13th Small Business Opportunity Workshop

Senator Jon Tester is hosting his latest Small Business Opportunity Workshop in Bozeman on Friday, May 17.  The workshop will focus on strengthening Montana’s economy and creating jobs by making sure Montana is fully tapping into its tourism potential.

According to the University of Montana’s Institute for Tourism and Recreation Research, visitors to Montana spent more than $3 billion in the Big Sky State last year.  Montana must do everything it can to take advantage of the economic opportunities that tourism presents and growing our businesses.

Tester’s workshop will bring national tourism and social media leaders – including top executives at Google, the U.S. Travel Association and Delta Airlines – to help Montana small businesses seize economic opportunities and create jobs here in the Big Sky State.

The workshop will be held on May 17 in the Strand Union Building’s Ballroom A at Montana State University. The workshop will start at 9 a.m. and is free and open to the public. To attend, please RSVP at tester.senate.gov/RSVP.

A talented group will lead the discussion about enhancing customers’ experience and taking businesses to the next level. Workshop attendees can expect:

  • Keynote speeches by Montana native Eric Phillips of Delta Air Lines and Roger Dow, the President and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association
  • Panels dedicated to using on-line media to expand business opportunities and sharing Montana business success stories
  • Opening and closing remarks from Montana education and community leaders

Montana’s small businesses strengthen our economy and create jobs. This workshop will help them find more ways to grow and prosper. To be a part of the workshop, please RSVP at tester.senate.gov/RSVP
