Tester: Montanans deserve to see Gorsuch’s answers ‘for themselves’

Senator Releases Statement as Supreme Court Nominee’s Confirmation Hearing Begins

(U.S. Senate) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester today issued the following statement on the opening day of Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch’s confirmation hearing:

“While more out-of-state special interests blanket Montana with TV ads trying to tell us what’s best, all Montanans deserve to see for themselves how Judge Gorsuch answers tough questions during a public hearing. I look forward to a fair and honest hearing and I will continue to do my due diligence to learn about where he stands on issues that are important to Montanans.”

Tester was one of the first Senators to meet with Judge Gorsuch following his nomination.
