Tester: Put the Health Care Proposal in the Garbage Where it Belongs

(U.S. Senate) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester released the following statement after the Senate postponed a vote on the Better Care Reconciliation Act:

“Simply delaying a vote for a few days won’t address the concerns that thousands of Montanans have shared with me. It is time to put this disastrous proposal in the garbage where it belongs, and Republicans and Democrats must now work together to fix our health care system to lower costs and increase access to care.”

Tester will hold a health care town hall on Facebook tonight at 6:00 p.m. MDT.
